Sardinian cow

The Sardinian cow belongs to an ancient bovine population, characterised by the introduction of macrozero-type animals, with long horns facing backwards and without crayfish. Its origins are attributable to strains from the Iberian, North African and Syrian area, rather than the Italian peninsula, and testify to the long history of exchanges and adaptations that have shaped thezootechnical diversity of Sardinia.
